IS YOUR ORGANIZATION TRANSPARENT?
We at Sita Rasoi believe in 100% transparency in the work we do. We have no reason to hide anything from the volunteers or anyone for that matter. Any and all work we all do will always be shared. If someone is to remain confidential it will only be the inner working and more important details which only 4-5 members have access to. Other that that we believe ourselves to be a very open and approachable service.
HOW MUCH OF MY DONATION DIRECTLY SUPPORTS THE CAUSE?
100% of your donation goes into making the food, arranging the utensils, and more for the specific day of your donation. Sita Rasoi, being 100% tax deductible there is no reason to think about twice, no misuse of your funds is made. We in turn send photos and videos of the day you donation funded the lunch and there is no nomial fee of 10 rupees that people have to pay for lunch that day.

WHY DO YOU TAKE 10 RUPEES FOR THE LUNCH?
Being considerate of the environment and of the food we produce we want to ensure no food is gone to waste. Having just a nominal fee of 10 rupees makes people feel they have earned this food which they are consuming and in turn dont waste any of it. Even though we dont require the 10 rupees it's just a way of making people feel good about the work they are doing and to ensure no food goes to waste.
HOW DOES ME DONATING MAKE A CHANGE?
The first and foremost point is giving back to the community. Sita Rasoi holds a lunch for at least 500 people each day. These are your workers, constructors, maids which serve you daily. Doing something for them and giving back in a sense is the best way you can contribute to society. In addition to that, what we believe in is that no amount is too small or too large, you can donate as much as your heart desires and we will feed people from that. So it really is upto you, the community. When you donate people dont even have to pay the nominal 10 rupee fee!!
